Flyaway Productions presents: TENDER (n.): A PERSON WHO TAKES CHARGE
Thursday, June 7, 2018 to Saturday, June 16, 2018
A site-specific dance celebrating 100 years of outcast activism in the Tenderloin
In collaboration with the Tenderloin Museum, Code Tenderloin and Asian Art Museum, Flyaway offers a new site specific, off the ground dance on the Cadillac Hotel above the Tenderloin Museum on the corner of Eddy and Leavenworth Streets. The dance takes a historical lens on both the isolation and stamina that have impacted the Tenderloin over the last 100 years. It celebrates the outcasts who have defied convention here and the unlikely activists who have sought, in almost every decade, to create a desirable place to live and thrive.
